Hi all,

For the moment, all the session recordings are only available to registered 
attendees, and that's available until at least September for now. It is our 
intent to make these recordings available more widely, but I will not be able 
to work on that until July.

Speakers should be able to upload their slides via the session editing invite 
link they received originally. Let me know if you need a new invite.

All attendees should have received from noreply-zoomevents at zoom.us an e-mail 
with a subject of "Recordings for 2023 AFS Technologies Workshop are 
available".   This email includes a personalized link that will authenticate 
the attendee and permit them access to the 2023 AFS Technologies Workshop Lobby.

On Windows and macOS, the link opens in the default browser which attempts to 
open the page in the Zoom application.

On iOS, the link opens in the default browser and then attempts to open the 
Zoom.us application from the store.

I do not have an Android device to try.

Once in the Lobby, select the "Sessions" tab which lists the schedule and next 
to each of the webinar sessions there is a "Watch Recording" button.

I have watched recordings on Windows, iOS and iPadOS so far.

To access the slides (if the speaker uploaded them), select the talk and then

past, she may have mentioned how to upload your slides.

I believe that the recordings should be available to all attendees from the 
Lobby for the WorkShop for a certain amount of time.  And our plan is to bring 
them back to the OpenAFS Web Sites for future viewing, etc.

I will also try to scan previous emails for this information.

If I go to the link you provided, I am able to go to the Lobby and Sessions and 
view the recordings.
However, I have an account with our Zoom account, so that might be where I can 
see the recordings and you might not be able to do that.

I will look into this as well.

As announced at the end of the workshop, the slides and recordings are 
available via the Zoom Event Lobby to all attendees until 30 Sept 2023.


I am unaware of the plans for them after that date.

Speakers that have not yet uploaded their slides to their session can 
continue to do so by using the link in the "Edit Session" invitation 
email received before the conference began.

register for this event. To name a few, the workshop seems not to be accessible 
from Iceland, Norway, Finland, Denmark, Slovakia, Hungary, almost all of Africa 
(including South Africa) and Asia (including Taiwan, India,...) etc.

Frankly, I think this is a violation of our code of conduct. While I have 
registered, I'm seriously considering not to participate.

But I still hope this is a misunderstanding.
