I am pleased to announce the release of openais 0.83 (trunk-unstable). This release adds new functionality useful for third party plugin systems and continues our project's progression toward a split of the openais APIS and core code (corosync) code base.
Features added in this version: A new confdb API for third parties to obtain configuration information when aisexec is running or unavailable from the configuration object database. A new logsys API for third parties to use non blocking threaded based logging. A new service engine loading and unloading system which allows dynamic runtime loading and unloading of service engines using openais-cfgtool. A bunch of bugs fixed. The release can be downloaded here: http://developer.osdl.org/dev/openais/downloads/openais-0.83/openais-0.83.tar.gz The changelog can be viewed here: http://developer.osdl.org/dev/openais/ChangeLog As a reminder, these trunk releases are generally for developer use and not suitable for deployment. The focus of the 0.84 release will be forward ports of patches from the very stable whitetank branch to stabilize trunk.
