You have to use the SNAP version (200104xx+ -- Major of April 2001 ) to
be sure to have all the patches we sent them for the new ca functions.
Just upgrade it and it will be fine. Be carefull

i installed the OpenCA pre0.8.0 from 10th June as the ca Server on a
Laptop with RedHat 7.1. During the initialisation there occures the
following error. If i try to generate a CA request, the logs say that
there is an unknown option -subj while calling openssl req. I am using
openssl 0.9.6.
