The compile session goes smooth if I comment out
#define MAGICK5 in src/exec/dxmods/_im_image.c.

Exceed 3D including all patches and we did a complete uninstall, reinstall
to be on the safe side.

ImageMagick-5.1.1-1
ImageMagick-devel-5.1.1-1
Does that matter? I hoped that a
/* #define MAGICK5 */
in src/exec/dxmods/_im_image.c would remove the
ImageMagick all together. But it's more complicated,
apparently.
Do you expect ImageMagick to cause
