Dear DX'ers,

I want to combine 2 sets of data before visualising the results in a plane. The 1st data set is a field that represents the boundary, where all data are zero; the 2nd is a series of values, on positions inside the boundary.
The grids are 2-D, irregular.

I don't want to combine the data sets before importing, because I would end up repeating the same boundary data for each series member (44 members x 300 points).

I can join the fields if I put a {Connect} in each input stream and then combine the fields with {CollectMultiGrid}, but the connections are crazy (because the boundary data acquires connections across the open plane).

Is there some way to append the 2 fields before creating the 'connections' component?

Thanks,
