In 2008, ADL 1.4 was adopted as the basis of ISO 13606-2.

A few years ago, the renewal process started for this standard, and as part of that, openEHR Foundation was asked to allow the ADL2 version of the Archetype Formalism (specifically, the AOM2 specification <https://specifications.openehr.org/releases/AM/latest/AOM2.html>) to be used as the basis for the new version of 13606-2. The latter has now been published as ISO 13606-2:2019 (ISO home page <https://www.iso.org/standard/62305.html>).

For users of openEHR specifications at government level, it may help to be able to point to this ISO standard.
