i need to pay more attention to developments ... first, neither of
those variables are mentioned in the variables glossary of the YP
reference manual. just an observation.
now, do i understand correctly that what is now in HOSTTOOLS *must*
exist on the build host before the build begins? i see bitbake.conf
now has quite the little list. i also see that HOSTTOOLS_NONFATAL is
accompanied by the comment, "Link to these if present." does that mean
symlinks into the native sysroot?
and how do those new variables play with ASSUME_PROVIDED? sorry if
this should be clear.
