Key Status/Updates:

*   YP 3.3.3 was released
*   YP 3.1.11 is in QA.
*   The public hash equivalence and sstate share highlighted some issues
where builds from sstate were not as optimal as they could be. There are a
number of related patches on the mailing list, some are more invasive than
others and are marked as RFC. They do fix and improve valid issues but some
may be too invasive at this point of the release.
*   The output hash timestamp issues were resolved and this has improved
state reuse.
*   Fixes for a number of open bugs in bugzilla have been posted but
some have implications for other layers (e.g. accounting site info in task
hashes).
*   Intermittent issues are ongoing and help is very much welcome on
these issues. You can see the list of failures we're continuing to see by
searching for the "AB-INT" tag in bugzilla:

mailing list. We will likely move a chunk of these to "Unassigned" soon to
help facilitate this.

Key Status/Updates:

*The M3rc1 build built mostly cleanly and is in QA. We are running into 
problems particularly around the runqemu changes and we're continue to try and 
find solutions to those problems.

*We've found proper fixes for some of the workarounds we added in order 
to be able to build M3 so those are being merged and the workarounds removed. 
Thank to Markus for finding one particularly problematic issue with smart.

*We did see some build issues with krogoth-next, partially due to 
improved testing, Armin is testing fixes for some of those issues.

*The defect tracking metric is falling which is good but we're ~100 off 
the 2.1 release low point and ~500 off the 2.0 low so there is room for 
improvement.


Key YP 2.2 Dates:

*YP 2.2 M4 cut off would be: 10/3/16

*YP 2.2 M4 release would be: 10/28/16

Key Status/Updates:

  *   The Milestone M3 release is now undergoing QA
  *   The M3 build was not clean, there were a further three failures which had 
never been encountered before. These have bug entries and we're continuing to 
work through them as fast as we can.
  *   Issues were found in the datastore around override expansion, 
particularly in multilib configurations. Patches have merged to address this.
  *   There is risk to the 2.0 release date unless we can get these failures 
under control.
  *   The project is now feature frozen as we move towards the 2.0 release.  
All enhancements now will be pushed YP 2.1.
  *
  *   Reminder: We have renamed YP 1.9 to YP 2.0.
  *   The current version that is in development will launch as YP 2.0 in 
October, 2015.
  *   The release name for YP 2.0 is 'jethro'.

YP 2.0 Final - 2.0 Cut off: Sept. 28, 2015 noon GMT
YP 2.0 final Release Target: Before Oct. 30, 2015
