All,
I'm on the dunfell branch and I am switching my ntp client from ntp to chrony.
I noticed after I upgraded that ntp was still running even though it had been
removed from my system. After checking in with opkg, I started checking the
prerm scripts. Here is the prerm script as it was

I'm down to my last couple. I found a conflict between sysvinit and util-linux
that I have no idea how to handle and I'm looking for some help. I'm using
sysvinit for init and opkg for package management.

First, please let me know if I should be directing this to a different OE/yocto

The official PHP archival version download site, http://museum.php.net, has
been down at least since the beginning of October. This is a problem for daisy
and older branches if a build attempts to fetch PHP. I expect this site will
be back up again sometime, but from reading the conversation

I see that patches for bash to fix CVE-2014-7169 and CVE-2014-6271 have been
applied to the daisy and master branches of openembedded-core two days ago. I
saw some talk on this mailing list about applying the patches to the dora and

All,
This is related to the ifplugd patch thread from a few weeks ago, which you can
find here:
http://lists.openembedded.org/pipermail/openembedded-devel/2014-May/095751.html.
Even though this relates to that thread, I figured the question was different
enough to warrant a new thread.
I
this patch has been applied to dora and master, but it is not present
in dylan. Could this patch get backported to dylan? Without it, anyone on the
dylan branch can't fetch php.

I have a package that I created for my setup which, when upgraded, will require
