I think it is a good strategy to raise prices but to still be open.
Unfortunately I can not participate in the event due to my limited
budget but I would prefer to have an open event.
I support Tim's view that it is neccessary to address also people
outside the core community.

So Early bird sales for the conference have gone really well. Much
better than I expected, and potentially problematically well. If DOHCS
attendance is any indicator, there will be a spike of late registrations. I
