Assuming that you still have this problem, set
PKG_CONFIG_PATH to /usr/g++/lib/pkgconfig/.

Trying to build something (mixxx) that relies on qt, and
it appears pkg-config is not aware of it (QtCore).
Is there a file for pkg-config somewhere?
I've cobbled together an SMF manifest and some scripts. Seems to be working
well enough for me.
