One suggestion for the future for better reliability.
Avoid using WDC WD20EARS, they aren't great, and hopeless on SAS
controllers.
Avoid mixing disk brands or models in a zpool.
The different behaviour can trigger issues.

Hello Clement,
there is no specific reason I know of to run a scrub right after a
re-silver. In respect to your array, I have some doubts that the
re-silver will ever complete. As much as the rubber pads are concerned,
I am not sure either if they are part of the problem after all. Elastic
Interesting but where...

Yes, clearing is the proper procedure.
The predicted time to complete is usually wildly inaccurate until you get near
the end
of resilvering or scrubbing.

Booting from the OI livecd and running zpool import looks like it will
work. The output is below.
So I should be able to import the pool. Is there anything I need to
consider before going ahead with this? Will I need to set up
users/permissions for cifs sharing again? What about nfs shares?

I don't know, the build of the first vdev was made automatically via

I was looking over the hipster repo, and I cannot tell how closely it's

I saw a jenkins instance for hipster; but the changelog there didn't seem to
include any illumos-gate commits, just the oi-userland.
Specifically, I'm looking for whether this is included:

The main groups doing LibreOffice builds on OI were:
1. Sonicle (Gabriele Bulfon)
2. Lanedo GmbH (http://www.lanedo.com/libreoffice/)
3. Adfinis SyGroup AG
4. Tribblix.org (Peter Tribble)
People have gotten it to build successfully just issue with stability...
