Using Illumos binaries on Solaris is only a quick and dirty workaround.
From my tests it worked but I am glad to use Illumos as prime platform.
I do not expect Oracle to include minIO but hope for a 3rd party
repository as the Opensource minIO is from what I have seen the

Please be advised, that running Go binaries compiled on illumos on
Solaris is not supported and is known to break. We have included the
illumos build tag for that. I do not know if these binaries will
continue to work. You can compile binaries for the Platform they are

In several cases i needed to seperate NFS traffic to one link and SMB to
another. Firewall is the only solution. Maybe you want to add a feature
request for a NFS/SMB bind to a link at https://www.illumos.org/issues/
