With hardware that has no cdrom or floppy drive... how can I start the
OS from livecd?.. I've never done a network style startup. Just a
brief outline would be very welcome.

you can create a USB pen drive booteable from the wiki. You just need to
download the USB iso and create it. Is really simple.
