FWIW
Firefox just wedged OI_148 so tight the only thing that would still respond was
the mouse cursor. Nothing else on console (didn't try ssh). Had to force a
power down.
System had probably been up for 2 weeks. Does anyone want me to collect
additional data?

Which Firefox? I uninstalled FF 4b8 the other day because the only way
to recover was to power off ... but FF 3.6 works fine.

sort of thing. It had been so long I failed to recognize what had happened
