I need to compile apcupsd. It seems like a pretty easy process using
this guide.

The part I am not sure about is getting the proper compiler setup.
When I run the configure script:
./configure
checking for true... /usr/gnu/bin/true
checking for false...
You can install gcc-dev package:
# pkg install gcc-dev
