Once more I'm looking at using OI at desktop (at least, this way I'll be
first who finds out that I've broken JDS :)). The ultimate disadvantage
that doesn't allow me to do it is skype (it's a must-have application
for me, and it should be fully functional - or at least
If a VM is even a possibility, you could always run a minimal Debian
Server, and ssh -X into it to give you good access, the overhead and speed
is relatively minor, and the speed should be okay.
You should even be able to script it, and by modifying the trusted keys it
should be almost seamless.

that was back in 2009, an i used to use it a lot...
Now, on IO 151a1 1.8 flash is NOT working anymore and more, IMO site is
NOT providing skype anymore (for about l 1 year now).
