[OpenIndiana-discuss] zpool completes resilver with no errors and then starts resilvering again - resolved
Hi After over a week of continous resilvering without any errors being reported it has finally stopped. Unfortunately I am not sure precisely why it has stopped, it could be down to one of two actions. In order to increase the rate at which resilvering took place so that unnecessary processes were not run, I had my desktop running at run-level 2 as this reduced the resilver time by around 5 hours but after completing it immediately started again. So yesterday I allowed the resilver to take place while the desktop was active (run-level 3) and the resilver time completed in 15 hours and did not start to resilver again this time. There is no requirement to complete the resilver in run-level 3? Unfortunately I also completed a pkg update to a new BE so I am not sure which or if both actions resolved this resilver issue. Hi, I have six disk raidz2, originally all disks were 3TB, swapped one 3TB for a 6TB, waited for the resilver to complete but then it immediately starts the next. # zpool status uhome pool: uhome state: ONLINE status: One or more devices is currently being resilvered. No errors are being produced, any suggestions how to resolve this?
