The zero build fails on armel. It builds on -13, -14 and -15, so maybe it's
just a bad build in the archive which needs a re-bootstrap.

so this is not an openjdk error, and should be fixed in the pacakges itself. See

No, this is not a clean sid install, it has the the man pages stripped. You
should report that to the provider of update-alternatives. There is nothing
that can be done in the openjdk packages.
The reason that libjvm.so is not stripped is, that jmap needs the debug
information to properly work. See
