Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. The actual error is in the attached logs: mkdir: cannot create directory ‘/etc/.java/.systemPrefs’: File exists It indicates that you have a file /etc/.java/.systemPrefs were our scripts expected a directory.
