The reason that libjvm.so is not stripped is, that jmap needs the debug information to properly work. See https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/openjdk-6/+bug/574997
Afaics we cannot strip this library. jmod now copies that file, shipping it in fact twice.
