Re: [Openocd-development] bitbang-jtag: FT232R based JTAG with OpenOCD patch
I think it is great that we see these posts w/references to modified versions of OpenOCD. I understand that there are people out there that need something special done and don't want to or can't participate in the openocd mailing list, but that doesn't mean that there aren't others who would step up and do the merging work for changes that are of general interest. -- Meet Zylin at ESC 2010 San Jose April 26 - 30. 2010 http://www.zylin.com/events_esc2010.html Øyvind Harboe US toll free 1-866-980-3434 / International +47 51 63 25 00 http://www.zylin.com/zy1000.html ARM7 ARM9 ARM11 XScale Cortex JTAG debugger and flash programmer ___ Openocd-development mailing list Openocd-development@lists.berlios.de https://lists.berlios.de/mailman/listinfo/openocd-development
[Openocd-development] bitbang-jtag: FT232R based JTAG with OpenOCD patch

It could be used for implementing fast serial interfaces like SPI or JTAG. There exist several starter boards based on FT232R. Using these boards, one could easily build a simple JTAG programmer Patch for OpenOCD: debugger is available here: http://vak.ru/lib/exe/fetch.php/proj/bitbang/openocd-ft232r.pch.gz?id=proj%3Abitbang%3Abitbang-jtagcache=cache + Disclaim: I do not have FT232R. I just feel this might be interesting. -- Xiaofan http://mcuee.blogspot.com ___ Openocd-development mailing list Openocd-development@lists.berlios.de https://lists.berlios.de/mailman/listinfo/openocd-development
