Hmm... I still do not understand where /bin/bash is used in our bootstrapping
procedure. I mean it explicitly uses /bin/sh (which unlike Linux should not
point to /bin/bash on Solaris).  Are you really sure it is because of the
existance of /bin/bash?  Hmmmm... can you provide us with a complete log
summary of the whole build process if /bin/bash is present? Because I'm not
able to reproduce this on our Solaris 2.8 machines. Do you have the
latest patchcluster installed?
