Hello,
I am currently trying to install opensaf 5.19.07 in an internal environment
using the rpms that has no external access so yum is not an option. In the
previous version of opensaf which is 5.1.0 I have successfully installed the
rpms in this same environment using the following order:

Hello,
We are using opensaf version 5.1.0. We have a cluster using tcp as a transport
mechanism with opensaf multicast feature enabled.
We would appreciate answers to the following questions:
1. Please provide a link or any document that gives details on how the
opensaf mds layer works.
Hi,
We are using opensaf 5.1.0.
We have an environment running 6 machines, two controllers and four payloads.
For several different
reasons such as incorrect configuration, some of our components will start
correctly, error and then exit.
Since we have components that are configured with a

Hi All,
I have recently upgraded from opensaf version 4.4.0 to 5.1.0. In 4.4.0, when I
set the OPENSAF_GROUP and OPENSAF_USER variables in the nid.conf file and
unlocked a service unit the applications in each component were started as the
OPENSAF_USER which is what I needed. However, in 5.1.0

Hi All,
I'm using opensaf 4.4.0 with redhat 6. I have a SU that contains one component
set to a recovery of SU restart, and all other components set to component
restart.
I'm testing a scenario where I need to restart this SU while it's unlocked and
all components are running and stable.
, or the
entire cluster?
Thanks

We have defined a no redundancy SU with a saAmfSUFailover set to 1 with
multiple components. All components are local SaAware. One component (compX)
has a recommended recovery on error value (saAmfCtDefRecoveryOnError) set to 3
(component failover). The other components (compZ(s) have the
