I'll bite...
Lets focus on one of the patches new feature: attaching objects to

First problem with this patch... It replicates the *

Stanley,
I have participated in some of the load testing done with the DSG
stuff on Science Sim.
While you can support large numbers of avatars, there are some interesting
restrictions...
You will need to have COMPLETED your build in a master region..
I believe building is supported in
It would be more interesting if you could provide a link to the

If you are referring to the llMatchGroup function request documented in the
LSL functions wiki.. http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/LlMatchGroup,
This request is old, and the talk page
This could be any number of issues,
It is important to know how the walk animation is triggered...
If it is triggered by an AO, and your simulator is busy, or you crossed a
region border,
it could be a script issue..
If everything works with a different set of animations, it could be
I have to disagree...
Contributions made to date may be BSD licensed, but the language of the
CLA, as well as the foundations policy on the use of copyright material, are
not restricted to BSD style licensing. While I have pushed for the creation
of a foundation, and believe that this
Umar,
I have been using pretty standard TestClient bots to do performance
testing..
I have also used the existing command set to pre-program complex activities,
like a continuous 6 model runway fashion show for in-world video recording.

Aloha,
I would recommend that you take a look here...

In section 5..you will find a reference to TestClient, which is a fully
functional bot control application.
I have been using variants of this code for a number of load test
Once again,
a tempest in a teapot.
I, for one, would remind people of some of the things we have learned about
patent discussions on this list.
1. It is FAR more detrimental to the OpenSim movement if detailed patent
information is posted here.. Reading those patents is a VERY bad idea for
Aloha,
This is a serious failure. There is NO documentation anywhere to direct
anyone to the proper fields/mechanics on how to assign an estate manager and
there are many basic features that depend on having estate privileges.
Personally, I fail to see why the inclusion of estate manger
Aloha,
I have not seen such a beast.. The best path forward until one exists seems
to be outlined in JustinCC's blog entries regarding his experience with c##
scripting..http://justincc.org/blog/2008/11/21/c-scripting-in-opensim/
In the config file, turn on the option to save script with

I enjoy the dicussion, but it seems to me that recent expereince onlky
points to a more evolution of the database structures, and frankly I'd
rather see core efforts continue to be focused on the VW platform.. Once
the front end discussions start there are whole
Aloha,
I have been using libomv/testclient based bots for months now, most recently
with 0.8.1. In my experience, it is easy to control them using in-world
scripts. I regularly start the testclient bot using the --scriptfile
command line option, using the designated script to define an in-world

What exactly is going on?
Did someone apply for a patent? Are ANY patents pending? If so, please
let us know what patents are currently pending, so we can at least look them

Yes Diva,
I'd have to say...comparing the removel of NHibernate because the interface
went neglected over months... to dropping SQL lite becasue no one has
jumped forward to volunteer for an unknown amount of work seems a bit out of
place. The refactor of services may have been complete for days,
Len,
You have it right..
As an expereinced project manager, I have watched in dismay as time and time
again, people willing and WANTING to help move OpenSim forward have found
themselves frustrated by a lack of BASIC documentation on the configuration
of the platform. The current attitude of
