Nope - anti-aliased fonts have been used since the GNOME 2.6
first integrated to Solaris 10 before the initial S10 release.
Before we got carried away, I want to comment on the fonts of SXCE 65. I
believe this is the first time that anti-alias fonts are used in Solaris. I
pay a lot of attention to screen fonts, and at least in this area, Solaris now
should rank among the best looking operating systems.

You're doing yourself a favor: by investing the time to assimilate the

I saw this comment below and thought I would respond:

due to historical events. Blastwave was the forerunner
of building newer versions of GNOME for Solaris before

The thought is that things that are part of the OpenSolaris code base would
definately be hosts by OpenSolaris.org. Being that all the code hosted by
OpenSolaris is freely distributable, it would obviously make sense to
develop and leverage mirror sites.
One thing that will also be hosted is repo

Right there it tells you: the "expert" is calling a function in his code and
passing in three args, while the function expects four.
Lovely.

Just take a simple xterm and do the following:
stty erase ^V^H
TERM=vt100; export TERM
eval `/usr/openwin/bin/resize`
and read the man page on `xterm`, that's important. That way, you'll be able to
set it up to your liking, to be real nice and comfortable.
