Hi there,
I upgraded 2 days ago from 72 to 75. In build 72 there was the bug, that a SATA
DVD-Drive wasn't detected by Opensolaris, so after the upgrdae from 70 to 72 I
lost my to drives.
In the bugbase it's said, that this bug is fixed in release 75, but I think, it
still remains. Each time,
I am hoping to organize an informal meeting of people in the Pittsburgh area
interested in OpenSolaris. The intention will be besides the opportunity to
meet with other like minded individuals to also discuss starting a local user

The short answer is, yes, but I'd like to qualify that with a caveat. I use
a SunFire v20z to run web, mail, VPN, smb and other file services, etc. on my
home network. I have 4 Gigs of Ram in this puppy and use a mirrored zfs pool
for the main file system, and 5 500GB drives in a Raid5z pool
Cool, Unfortunately you're in the wrong end of the state for me in NJ. Good

If you're talking about i18n and the sparc dissasembler, I'm sure you
know that these are the process of being replaced.
The Sparc dissassembler work was done by Jason King within the
infrastructure at Blastwave. So that is pretty far outside the Sun
firewalls.
I don't know about the i18n

The cold-boot is a thing, I need to do every time, because of a bug in the

At the heart of it is the questions, Should the OpenSolaris
brand/trademark refer to a runnable OS?, and If, so, do we limit to
distros that are binary copies of the Indiana distro?
