Note that the ./Configure solaris64-sparcv9-gcc fails. The correct configuration command should be ./Configure solaris64-sparcv9-gcc31. In testing, it compiles and goes all the way through the test just fine. I'm up and running. Thank you all for your help. Bruce Mohler -Original
