Apart from normal business, such as normal reviews, OMC business, normal system administration tasks, small fixes, etc., key activities this month: * Development: - Ensure we use the same provider as keymgmt where appropriate (PR openssl/openssl#16718) - EVP: Reverse the fetch logic in all pkey using functionality (PR openssl/openssl#16725) - Fix test/recipes/01-test_symbol_presence.t to allow for stripped libraries (PR openssl/openssl#16822) - Fix test/recipes/01-test_symbol_presence.t to disregard version info (PR openssl/openssl#16840) - [not_yet_nerged] Fix VMS installation (PR openssl/openssl#16842) - Fix lock leak in evp_keymgmt_util_export_to_provider() (PR openssl/openssl#16849) - Configurations/windows-makefile.tmpl: obj2bin(): use the resource file too (PR openssl/openssl#16875) * Web: - Update the details of VMS support (PR openssl/web#269) - bin/mk-latest: Treat post 1.x.x releases right (PR openssl/web#271) - Unify source archives (PR openssl/web#272) - Drop source/snapshot/README (PR openssl/web#275) * Internal: - do-release.pl: don't copy tarballs to /var/www/openssl/source any more -- Richard Levitte levi...@openssl.org OpenSSL Project http://www.openssl.org/~levitte/

My key activities this month were: - triage of newly reported issues and responding to questions - participation on the meetings - created proposal for OTC policy change process - created proposal for OTC voting process - created proposal for release branching policy - trying to find German or Czech reseller willing to sell us HPE Proliant server - reviews of various PRs: - I've reviewed about 50 PRs this month - Notable PRs reviewed: - Fix ssl_free() and thus BIO_free() to respect BIO_NOCLOSE #16688 - EVP: Reverse the fetch logic in all pkey using functionality #16725 - Fix miscellaneous engine problems #16846 - Fix short buffer handling #16789 - submitted 12 PRs: - In particular: - test: fetching proper signature provider for non-exportable keys #16764 I had also 1 day off and there was 1 day national holiday. -- Tomáš Mráz No matter how far down the wrong road you've gone, turn back.
