I have compiled OpenSSL in shared mode in RHEL (RedHat Linux) 3.0 using gcc 3.4 compiler. I made one installation in RHEL 3.0. It works fine. But if I install this in Suse, it fails to start/ stop apache. If I replace the openssl library with the one compiled in Suse, it works fine. Any fix for the above? If I compile OpenSSL in static mode, it works in both RHEL and Suse, but it fails to run in RHEL 64 bit OS. Please help me... Regards, Rosh K. Mathews
