Hello Mailinglist, I'm a student and I must change a DES Implementation according to a lecture I had last week. Now I'm looking for the DES source in OpenSSL. I have seen the crypto\DES directory, but every change in a cbc function doese not work. (I add on top of the function a fprintf(stderr) or a fopen/fwrite command.) I think this source is not use if I execute "make" and "make install". I think the asm/perl code is used in the subdirectory. Does someone know how I could disable the asm code, in a way that the the enc_des.c file would be used?
