I think you'd better build a test environment and try it out. We have a
experience in upgrading the 1.4.9 to 1.7.4 and encounter some problems.

Thanks guys. thats a plus for us to upgrade, since we have already lots of
users in keystone using swift and dont want to open another ksnt service
and replicate databases and stuff.
