I have seen this issue myself when I had a clock skew between the compute nodes. The scheduler assumed one of my nodes was dead because it was so long since it reported, because the compute clock was behind the schedulers clock. I think that was using Cactus, can't 100% remember now. Cheers,

Hi Razique, Did you synchronize clock of all the servers? I saw similar issue when clock of nova servers were not synchronized well. In this case, compute nodes are recognized as down and up (smiley) in turn repeatedly. Setting up an NTP server is a good idea, and please check using ntpq
