Indeed, clients are supposed to continue supporting 2.6 as mentioned here:

There's one person already in the release group, talk with that person
and ask to add you,

I've started to enhance the Markup conventions page from the

Enhancements and fixes are very welcome!

and the door is open to breakage support.
I'm gonna work on this.
The libraries have 2.6 support enabled as discussed - but if indeed some
are missing, please send patches,

So to recap, it seems to me the plan is to keep all Oslo lib with
Python 2.6 so we don't have
on how to proceed, see
https://wiki.openstack.org/wiki/GerritJenkinsGit#Test_Failures
Which patch was this? There was some trouble yesterday.

Khai tested it for us a couple months ago and confirmed that create
permission on refs/heads/* is sufficient for branch creation.
Thanks for the confirmation.
Here's a patch to do this in a consistent way:

this be.
We still support 2.6 on the python clients and oslo libraries - but
indeed not for trove itself with master.
Fixing it is also fine. But I wouldn't mind just moving on here and
letting the 2.6 bits die with vigor.

. This is
an exceptional situation and the TC has to take care of. Choosing
somebody from the program itself sounds like the first step but I
suggest to let the TC discuss the exact way forward in case of PTL
orphaned programs,
