It is with great news I'm happy to report the Modular Layer 2 Neutron plugin [1] is now fully supported in devstack. Instructions for configuring devstack with ML2 are located here [2]. The ML2 team would greatly appreciate people trying out ML2 with Neutron and devstack and reporting any issues found to on the mailing list or on #openstack-neutron in freenode. ML2 will work in VLAN mode, and also in GRE or VXLAN tunnel mode. VXLAN tunnel mode is supported using Open vSwitch >= 1.10, including the upstream Open vSwitch kernel module.
