Hello, Separate job for testing live-migration with different storage configurations(No shared storage/NFS/Ceph was implemented during Mitaka and available to be executed using experimental pipeline.
The job is ready but shows same stability as gate-tempest-dsvm-multinode-full. Bugs like [1] [2] affects its stability. So the main idea for now it to make this job running against latest libvirt/qemu versions. Markus Zoeller and Tony Breeds are working on implementation of devstack plugin for that [3]. So once plugin ready it will be possible to check. Another option for this is to use Xenial images in experimental job, which will contain newer libvirt/qemu version. Infra team already add ability to use 16.04 for experimental[4], so I'm going to try this approach. Work items: - Cover negative testcases for live-migration(to check that all rollback logic works well) - in progress; - Check state of VM after migration - Live migration for instance under workload Timofey.
