Re: [openstack-dev] [security] [docs] Security Guide Freeze and RST migration - Complete
All, The RST migration has completed, and the freeze is lifted, all incoming patches will need to be in RST format. Thanks to the Docs team - especially Andreas - for the awesome support! [openstack-dev] [docs] [security-guide] RST Navigation Sidebar
Docs Team, While doing the RST migration we noticed that the navigation sidebar from the current DocBook version was not there. After continued editing we came to the conclusion that navigation pane was REALLY useful. My understanding is that there is no RST equivalent yet. Is that accurate? If so, is there any possibility of implementing one? +1! -Original Message- From: McPeak, Travis Sent: Monday, June 15, 2015 9:17 AM To: openstack-dev@lists.openstack.org Subject: [openstack-dev] [Security] Nominating Michael McCune for Security CoreSec I¹d like to propose Michael McCune for CoreSec membership. I¹ve worked with Michael (elmiko) on numerous security tasks and bugs, and he has a great grasp on security concepts and is very active in the OpenStack security community. I think he would be a natural choice for CoreSec. smime.p7s Description: S/MIME cryptographic signature __ OpenStack Development Mailing List (not for usage questions) Unsubscribe: openstack-dev-requ...@lists.openstack.org?subject:unsubscribe http://lists.openstack.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/openstack-dev

Travis has been an active member of the Security project for a couple of years he's a part of the bandit subproject and has been very active in discussions over this time. He's also found multiple vulnerabilities and has experience of the VMT process. -Rob smime.p7s Description: S/MIME cryptographic signature __ OpenStack Development Mailing List (not for usage questions) Unsubscribe: openstack-dev-requ...@lists.openstack.org?subject:unsubscribe http://lists.openstack.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/openstack-dev
[openstack-dev] [security] Nominating Mike McCune as Security-Doc Core
To the Security and Docs groups as well as other interested parties, I would like to nominate Mike McCune to the Security Guide core. He has been contributing to the Security Guide for about six months now, and he has been a consistent participant improving content and helping new submittors. In addition, he knows the inner workings of the guide, having created and merged for the security guide the chapter on Sahara. Please chime in with your agreement, or concerns.
