The serviceBase and insertion spec has been up for review for a while. It
would be great if it can be reviewed and moved forward.

As you know, Neutron port is a logic abstraction for network interfaces
with a MAC and IP address. However, network services could be used at
, but it can be virtually any service type and service
implementation. Sure users wouldn't get all the fancy APIs OpenStack
providers instantiate and configure services.
