Note that you can propose a release to the releases repo[1] and then you
just need the PTL or release liaison to sign off on it.

[openstack-dev] [heat] Need new release of heat-translator library

2018-06-20 Thread Patil, Tushar
Hi,

Few weeks back, we had proposed a patch [1] to add support for translation of
placement policies and that patch got merged.

This feature will be consumed by tacker specs [2] which we are planning to
implement in Rocky release and it's implementation is uploaded in patch [3].
Presently, the tests are failing on patch [3] becoz it requires newer version
of heat-translator library.

Could you please release a new version of heat-translator library so that we
can complete specs[2] in Rocky timeframe.

Thank you.

Sampath, Dinesh and others,

It was a good meeting last week.

As briefly discussed with Sampath, I would like to check whether we can adjust
the meeting time.

We are at EST time zone, the meeting is right on our midnight time, 12:00 am.

It will be nice if the meeting can be started ~2 hours earlier e.g. Could it be
 started at 02:00: UTC instead?

Thanks.
Louie

[openstack-dev] [sdk][masakari] Need newer version of openstacksdk

2018-04-19 Thread Patil, Tushar
Hi SDK team,

Few weeks back we have moved "instance_ha" service code from
python-masakariclient into openstacksdk project in patch [1] and it got merged.
Currently, masakari-monitors is totally broken and it requires newer version of
openstacksdk. We have proposed a patch [2] in masakari-monitors to fix the
issue but we cannot merge it until a newer version of openstacksdk is available.

Request you to please release newer version of openstacksdk.

Thank you.

2018-03-13 Thread Patil, Tushar
Hi,

Total 4 people attended last IRC meeting and all of them have voted for
St.Bernard Dog.

If someone has missed to vote, please vote for mascot now.

Options:

1) Asiatic black bear
2) Gekko : Geckos is able to regrow it's tail when the tail is lost.
3) St. Bernard: St. Bernard is famous as rescue dog (Masakari rescues VM
instances)

Thank you.

Greetings,

I would like to propose that we re-add Dan Prince to the nova-core
review team.

Dan Prince has been involved with Nova since early in OpenStack's
history (Bexar timeframe). He was a member of the nova-core review team
from May 2011 to June 2013. He has since picked back up with nova
reviews [1]. We always say that when people leave nova-core, we would
love to have them back if they are able to commit the time in the
future. I think this is a good example of that.

Please respond with +1s or any concerns.

Thanks,

Subject: [openstack-dev] [Cinder] Propose Jay Bryant for core

Hey,

I wanted to propose Jay Bryant (AKA jsbryant, AKA jungleboy, AKA
:) ) for core membership on the Cinder team. Jay has been working on
Cinder for a while now and has really shown some dedication and provided
much needed help with quality reviews. In addition to his review
activity he's also been very active in IRC and in Cinder development as
well.

I think he'd be a good add to the core team.

Thanks,
John
