Andrew, you're an excellent contributor and I'm a bit sad to see you
less in Nova. I really liked working with you and I remember all the
help you got to me for knowing better the project.

Hopefully you'll still be in the IRC channel, but I'll really miss
seeing you during our face-to-face meetings.

My thoughts goes for you for your next projects.

Likewise, Andrew. To echo all the other sentiments, I have truly enjoyed
working with you and learning from you. Your departure leaves a
significant void, but I focus on the fact that myself and the Nova

Andrew, thanks so much for all your contributions to the Nova community
over the years. I have so enjoyed working with you, learning from you,
and making nova better alongside you. I'm really sad to see you go, but
purely from a selfish point of view. I know you will go on to make other
software and communities better, and I wish you the best of luck.

I'll leave you with a snippet from my #openstack-nova archives, on a
Friday in late 2013, where I think you had just figured out something
that I broke in those early days of objectification. I stand by my
statement:

Andrew, thanks for all you've done over the years. You were around when
I got started in Nova and I learned a lot from you over that time. I'm
happy to have gotten to know you more over that time, because another
thing that's great about working in this community is not just working
with others, but actually getting to know them in person and becoming
friends with people you otherwise wouldn't have met. I wish you all the
