Re: [openstack-dev] [MidoNet] Fwd: [MidoNet-Dev] Sync virtual topology data from neutron DB to Zookeeper?
It sounds great that you guys completely move to OpenStack. Sorry for late reply, I'm in a business trip for more than half a month which is really exhausted. OK, I know that you guys have some plan. I do need such a tool in the near future. It's really important for operation. Thanks, Ryu. Re: [openstack-dev] [MidoNet] Fwd: [MidoNet-Dev] Sync virtual topology data from neutron DB to Zookeeper?
Hi Nick, We have already designed the data sync feature[1], but this development was suspended temporarily in favor of completing the v5.0 development of MidoNet. We will be resuming development work on this project soon (with high priority). It sounds to me like you need a completed, mature tool immediately to achieve what you want, which we cannot provide right now. There is a networking-midonet meeting tomorrow on IRC at 07:00UTC [2] if you want to discuss this further. We could try to brainstorm possible solutions together. Re: [openstack-dev] [MidoNet] Fwd: [MidoNet-Dev] Sync virtual topology data from neutron DB to Zookeeper?
Hi Li, Sorry for the late reply. Unrelated point: please note that we've moved the mailing lists to Openstack infra (openstack-dev@lists.openstack.org - I'm ccing the list here). At the moment we don't support syncing the full Neutron DB, there has been work done for this that would allow this use case, but it's still not complete or released. @Ryu may be able to provide recommendations to do this following a manual process.
