Re: [openstack-dev] [Murano] Does Murano support nested HOT templates?

2015-06-12 Thread Stan Lagun
Currently Murano doesn't support nested template unless they are specified
by URL. However this is going to be fixed in current release cycle as there
are many requests for this feature.

[openstack-dev] [Murano] Does Murano support nested HOT templates?

2015-06-10 Thread Vahid S Hashemian
Just wondering if Murano supports nested templates.
For example, the autoscaling template at
https://github.com/openstack/heat-templates/blob/master/hot/autoscaling.yaml
references the template at
https://github.com/openstack/heat-templates/blob/master/hot/lb_server.yaml.
When I create the package, the referenced template does not seem to be included
in the application archive. Even though the package is imported successfully,
upon deployment an error is reported saying:

ERROR: Failed to validate : : resources.asg: : Could not fetch remote template
"lb_server.yaml": Invalid URL scheme

I'm not sure whether such templates should be imported differently or they are
not supported yet.
