Re: [openstack-dev] [TC][Searchlight] Setting up milestones for Searchlight on Launchpad

2018-08-21 Thread Kendall Nelson
Hello Trinh,

Since Searchlight is in flux right now, it might be an appropriate time to
consider migrating to StoryBoard from Launchpad. Since you are working on
getting organized and figuring out the state of Seachlight, it might make
more sense to do that in the new tool, rather than doing it now in
Launchpad and then again in the future when you migrate to Storyboard down
the road.

If this sounds like something you want to look into, let me know and I can
do a test migration into our dev environment. If that works out, I expect
we could migrate you before the end of the week.

Hi Thierry,

I just saw that link. Thanks :)

Because I couldn't contact any of the core members I emailed this list. I
will update the searchlight-core as planned after I am added.

Thanks for your response,

As a member of the "maintainer" team in Launchpad you should be able to
register a series ("stein") and then add milestones to that series. You
should see a "Register a series" link under "Series and milestones" at
https://launchpad.net/searchlight

For the TC to step in and add you to searchlight-core, yes, we'll have
to wait for the merging of that patch.

To go faster, you could ask any of the existing members in that group to
directly add you:

https://review.openstack.org/#/admin/groups/964,members

(NB: this group looks like it should be updated :) )

[openstack-dev] [TC][Searchlight] Setting up milestones for Searchlight on Launchpad

2018-08-21 Thread Trinh Nguyen
Dear TC and Searchlight team,

In an effort to get Searchlight back on track, I would like to set up
milestones as well as clean up the incomplete bugs, blueprints etc. on
Launchpad [1] I was added to the Searchlight Drivers team but I still can
not touch the milestone configuration.

In addition, I would like to move forward with unreviewed patched on Gerrit
so I need PTL privileges on Searchlight project. Do I have to wait for [2]
to be merged?
