So, for anyone that was following this thread. I have started the process for removing the Tuskar repos with this review: - https://review.openstack.org/#/c/270850/ Followed by these three dependent reviews: - https://review.openstack.org/270855 - https://review.openstack.org/270854 - https://review.openstack.org/270851 Then finally, dependent on all of the above: - https://review.openstack.org/#/c/270869/ > Cheers, > Dougal > > > [1]: > https://specs.openstack.org/openstack/tripleo-specs/specs/mitaka/tripleo-overcloud-deployment-library.html > [2]: https://review.openstack.org/230432 > __ OpenStack Development Mailing List (not for usage questions) Unsubscribe: openstack-dev-requ...@lists.openstack.org?subject:unsubscribe http://lists.openstack.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/openstack-dev

[openstack-dev] [TripleO] Removing the Tuskar repos
Hi all, I mentioned this at the meeting last week, but wanted to get wider input. As far as I can tell from the current activity, there is no work going into Tuskar and it isn't being tested with CI. This means the code is becoming more stale quickly and likely wont work soon (if not already). TripleO common is working towards solving the same problems that Tuskar attempted and can be seen as the replacement for Tuskar. [1][2] Are there any objections to it's removal? This would include the tuskar, python-tuskarclient and tuskar-ui repos. We would also need to remove it from instack-undercloud and tripleo-image-elements. I'll start to beginning the cleanup process sometime in min/late January if there are no objections. Re: [openstack-dev] [TripleO] Removing the Tuskar repos
+1. I've already proposed a patch to remove it from instack-undercloud since the last report I got said it doesn't work anyway.
