Greetings, Every once in a while we need to revisit our guidelines and even more importantly we need to advocate for them and make sure the community, especially core members, are on the same page with regards to those guidelines.
I've seen poor commit messages lately, which don't clearly explain what the problem is and what the fix is doing. I don't want to finger point specific reviews but I'd like cores from the projects mentioned in the subject to pay more attention to these details since I've spotted some already-merged reviews that don't follow the guidelines below.
