[openstack-dev] [cloudkitty] PTL candidacy for Queens

2017-08-04 Thread Christophe Sauthier

Hello everyone,

I would like to announce my candidacy for PTL of Cloudkitty.

During the Pike cycle we have been able continue the openess of our
community but also the addition of some interesting improvment and bug
fixes.

Now with Queen cycle approacing fast, my main focus for cloudkitty will
be to expand the spectrum of interaction : toward more OpenStack
components

and toward containers.
Finally I would like a special focus with documentation to help to
adoption

of cloudkitty !

I would also like to take this opportunity to thank all members of the
OpenStack community who helped our team during the lasts cycles.

Thank you,
 Christophe

[openstack-dev] [cloudkitty] [ptl] Candidacy for cloudkitty PTL

2017-01-23 Thread Christophe Sauthier

Hello everyone,

I would like to announce my candidacy for PTL of Cloudkitty.

During the Ocata cycle we have been able open up our community with the
integration of some new contributors and new cores from different
companies (which was a key from my point of view).
We also have been to add many improvment mainly to ease the usage and
configuration of cloudkitty.

During the Pike cycle the focus I am looking for is to extend to
spectrum of cloukitty integration (being able to fetch more metrics for
more services),lso to continue to help developers when they want to
participate in cloudkitty (which is already an ongoing work) and to
continue to extend the collaboration with other OpenStack projects.
Finally I am decided also to continue to work to support the wider
ecosystem adoption of Cloudkitty as the best solution for chargeback and
rating.

I would also like to take this opportunity to thank all members of the
OpenStack community who helped our team during the lasts cycles.

Thank you,

Christophe Sauthier

[openstack-dev] [cloudkitty] PTL candidacy

2016-03-18 Thread Stéphane Albert

Hi everyone,

I'm announcing my candidacy for PTL of the CloudKitty team during the
Newton

cycle.

Some of the features and improvements of the project I envisioned are
not yet

ready and contributed and there is more to come. But due to lack of
contributor's time we'll need more time to make them a reality.
That's why I'd like to apply for a second cycle to help the project get
these

features and keep the project going forward.
My main focus during this cycle will be to improve project communication
and

community development.

As we are about to get released as part of Mitaka, I hope it will help
the

CloudKitty project get a better focus from other people and increase
contributions.

During the Newton cycle I'd like to keep the project focused on these
specific

points:

- Improve code QA and global test coverage, Mikata was a good step
forward but

  we can go further.

- Improve internal data modeling and global user experience with new
APIs.

- Improve performances and scaling.
