Hi Folks,

to Nova in the Pike cycle or not. I hope that other Red Hat folks will
be able to take over involvement in any work I was responsible for (eg in
particular os-vif related stuff or any libvirt driver work). Since I
won't be on IRC, if there's some show stopper that needs my help, I'd
encourage people to ping other Red Hat or Nova team members who should
have enough knowledge to help, or failing that, email me.

I've not resigned from Nova core, but realistically I'm not going to be
doing any reviews for 3-4 months at a minimum, so I'll leave it up to
PTL to decide what action to take, if any. Regardless I think that
Nova needs to look core membership more broadly given the recent loss of
Andrew from the team too.

Thus I'd encourage the project to either promote more community members
to the Nova core team to increase bandwidth, and/or consider alternative
strategies to reduce the core bottleneck, such as an intermediate layer
of people who have +2, but not +A.

Daniel

Thanks for the heads up Daniel. sahid, lyarwood, mdbooth and sfinucan
have done a nice job of picking up work on the libvirt driver code
lately, so I think we're in good shape there.

Good luck with the new project and hopefully we haven't heard the last
of you in Nova.
