I was hoping to raise this question at the TripleO meeting this week. The
question being; Should we officially deprecate Tuskar?

At the moment development has stalled, with the only activity being
proposal bot updating requirements, but these all fail CI as it is broken
for Tuskar.

We're working on a new UI, but it won't be based on tuskar anymore.
Once we got to the point of doing real deployments with tuskar, we found
out the basic design was far too inflexible for anything but toy
deployments. We have hopefully learned from that and have work underway
to provide a new REST API that will expose all of the existing CLI
functionality to the UI and make it a useful thing in the real world:

I would love TripleO support on this topic

AFIK, Tuskar won't be continued to be the TripleO UI but I might have
misunderstood something.

Emilien,
So what is the statement we (OpenStack) wants to provide about UI for OOO?
If we will not provide it people outside our community and compatitors to
OpenStack will fill the void.
Thanks,
Arkady

Hi,

I don't find any official statement on the Internet, but I've heard Tuskar is
not going to be maintained anymore (tell me if I'm wrong).

If I'm not wrong, I suggest we stop maintaining puppet-tuskar, and
stable/liberty would be the latest release that we have maintained. I would
also drop all the code in master and update the README explaining the module is
not maintained anymore.

Thanks for your help,
