[openstack-dev] [qa] [ironic] Need tempest reviews from ironic team

2014-03-31 Thread David Kranz
I was reviewing some ironic changes that are more than a week old and do
not have any reviews from the ironic team. Having at least one review
from the ironic team would be very helpful.

Hi David,

We are in feature freeze right now, waiting for the Juno cycle to open up,
so there are several reviews that are holding. If you are able please join
the #opensack-ironic IRC channel, there is almost always a core member in
channel who should be able to answer any questions you have about specific
reviews.

Thanks, but this is not quite the issue. It is that many tempest
reviewers do not know all the ins and outs of every api, particularly
new ones. So it is helpful to have a +1 from some one who does. This has
been very valuable in neutron and I'm sure it would be here as well. I
will certainly ping in #openstack-ironic if there are any specific issues.

2014-03-31 Thread Daryl Walleck
Hi David,

I'm actually starting to ramp up on Ironic, so once I have my dev environment
up and running, I'll be more than glad to have a look at any Tempest/Ironic
reviews.

Hi David,

I think it'd be great to get reviewers from the Ironic team to weigh in on
tempest and devstack changes that are related to Ironic. I suspect the
issue is just visibility, not a lack of interest in QA projects. Dropping a
note in our channel would be great. Feel free to tag me on a review or ping
me directly if something isn't getting any attention.

Thanks much,
Devananda
