Hello, Curtis and Greg,
This is a quite good use case. Thanks for the sharing.
Tricircle is working on VxLAN based L2 network across OpenStack clouds for
different backends (non-SDN, SDN, L2 GW or non L2 GW). The spec is in review:
https://review.openstack.org/#/c/429155/.
Currently only SDN controllers which can support using BGP to exchange
tunneling endpoint information is considered. It's worth to take this use case
into consideration.
Please join the review and give your comments, thanks.
Best Regards
Chaoyi Huang (joehuang)

Subject: [openstack-dev] [tricircle] Example EVPN question/use-case
Hi,
I'm not sure if this is useful at all, but there is a blog post [1]
from one of the people behind the PacketPushers podcast regarding
connecting two OpenStack clouds with a EVPN. They are wondering how to
do it.
They want to connect an NSX based cloud with a OpenContrail based
cloud and do it at very high speeds. Interesting use case, real world.
Thanks,
Curtis.
